Within this document, the term "eAIP" is used to refer to Electronic AIP. This user guide is intended to cover general usage instructions applicable to Hong Kong eAIP.
The HTML format of the eAIP is intended for on-screen (HTML) presentation which allows ease of browsing and provide the capability to clearly visualize changes. Users can read the content of eAIP through an HTML browser, which is designed to facilitate on-screen viewing.
The PDF format is intended for printing. All graphics are embedded within the PDF files.
Three temporal versions are available. eAIP users have access to:
the current effective issue;
the next effective issues (the AIP Packages which have been published but not yet effective);
the expired issues (the expired issues (archives) are for information only and shall not be used in operation).
The publication and effective dates of the eAIP are compliant with ICAO standards and recommended practices.
Users shall ensure that he/she is browsing the appropriate version.
